The people managing the property and the staff are amazing! Also the location is great, right across a small, but great beach. Also, it’a not far from the airport. As I was travelling by myself over Christmas days for a short stay, Marylene’s family kind of ,,adopted” me, so I didn’t feel alone. The food was great, the chef and also Marylene’s son, Bernard is a great one, the Christmas dinner and lunch were great and the fact that I got to spend it with their family was amazing. This place stole my heart cause of the warmth of the people. Asmita and Vinod who are the employees there was so warm and caring. I promised to return on my next trip there and can’t wait to see everyone again.

Everything was great! The property exceeded our expectations! You have just in front of you beautiful and clean Royal Beach! Location is amazing, you will have a beauuuuuutiful view from room to the ocean! Moreover at night you will hear ocean waves! Room is spacious and clean and comfortable and suuuuper cozyyyyy! The place is well equipped and the location is near restaurants, grocery stores,beau vallon beach, and bus stop. My stay there was amazing and the people are so kind and helpful.. Victoria was easily accessed, there were many markets and most people spoke English. There are frequent rain showers that lasted a few minutes which is a relief as it is hot and humid most of the time. The restaurants were great but for South Africans it worked out expensive to eat and drink. There were far too many cars on the road and simply no parking available in Victoria. lovely sights and scenery . The roads that lead over the mountain give way to absolutely breath taking views. The local busses and their drivers were a menace on the road but they provided value for money public transport.

Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too. You'll see it all within 2 hours. The tourist offer is pretty slim at best, while any tourist related item prices are very steep. In Seychelles, it's the beaches you'll enjoy, not the city atmosphere.

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an apartment (Villa Bella) on the North East point, which was perfect for us. The North East point is far away from any touristy areas, so you'll need a car, which I'd recommend anyways to go to the different beaches, trails, supermarket etc. So stay elsewhere than Victoria is my advice!NinaNorway - 6.0Scored 6.0
As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see.
As the capital of Seychelles, Victoria is a must see. It is the cultural centre of the country. But the restaurants are very average to poor. Be prepared to pay tourist rates for everything and forget about coffee, there is none that is drinkable. For those in a hurry, two days is enough to see Victoria.

The bathroom is even more spacious with those lovely raining shower! Since it’s at the hill, we also get both garden and sea views. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. Freshly made coconut cakes, pan cakes with papaya jam, fruit smoothies, fruit parfaits, omelette are definitely to try. Even the fruity water taste refreshing! Hotel also able to arrange airport transfer at $600SCR per trip. Great location to Victoria, which is the Mahe city center.

Since we couldn’t get a chance to get a car on rent so we took a bus and enjoyed the island view via bus and dropped off wherever we wanted to. This gave us the liberty to enjoy on our own.
